Check out these future Innovators as they program Dash to complete an obstacle course – Robotics is so much fun!
Today marks the start of Junior Tech Academy’s schoolyear 2015/2016 program!
Our classes are filling up nicely – hurry up if you still want to get into the initial Introductory classes. We have one running on Mondays at 5:35pm, and one on Fridays at 4:30pm. The next batch of Introductory classes will start in January.
For students who already completed the introductory class – bring your completion certificate and enroll in our ongoing program – lots of exciting content using LEGO(tm) Mindstorms, Wonder Workshop(tm) Dash&Dot, Sphero(tm), LEGO(tm) and of course Scratch(tm) programming.
So what do you do when it’s the end of August, and most of your friends have already gone back to school? You join Junior Tech Academy’s Minecraft Mania camp, craft your own Minecraft headgear and learn how to use Redstone, how to design your own SurvivalGames levels and how to set up a server. Oh – and have lots of fun building, Enderdragon-slaying and battling each other in SurvivalGames. Want to join? Our next Minecraft Mania sessions are open for registration at Super Saturday.
How do you get 20 boys to build dollhouses? Easy, just call them spy-bases!
We had a total blast this summer at our Build an Automated Dollhouse/Spybase camp – two groups of 15 kids created, painted and decorated houses out of cardboard and supplies. Then, after understanding the basic principles of electricity, lights and a working doorbell were added – followed by some more interior decorating to complete the models. Just look at the pictures to see all the hard work that was put in by everyone.
